New Year, New Attitude! And Workshops!

I was very happy to wave good bye to 2017. Don't get me wrong, it was a great year, lots of amazing things happened, lots of lessons were learned. Some of those lessons were not very comfortable, but necessary none the less. Onward and upward for 2018.

I'm already making things happen for 2018. I have big goals, and I'd like you to be a part of them.

It all started with this concept of a "Depth" year. (Read the article here if you'd like.) I fell in love with the idea. Practice what you know, finish what you started, master what you practice. I want to dig deeper into what I already know and do, and offer more, rather than looking for something new to add on. This year I will be solidifying my knowledge and honing my intuition, working on finding that perfect balance that allows me to help you the most.

A big part of my job is helping families take back ownership of their health. To educate them and empower them, to have the tools and confidence they need to take care of minor health concerns in their own home. Often this includes much more than I can address in the office. I will be offering workshops for those who are eager to learn more. I may try to record my workshops and offer them online at a later date or do a live participation online, if possible. What better way to master what I already know than to teach it?

Workshops

I plan to do a one day Homeopathy for Family Health - first aid and common remedies workshop. This is perfect for those that already are beginning to use homeopathic remedies. It will be based on the basic 17 remedy homeopathic kits, and we'll get though as many as we can and likely more, addressing participant's questions and concerns as we go.

I'm also planning a Healing in the Kitchen Workshop - foods, herbs and supplements for family health. The idea with this one is to build a home natural medicine kit. Foods that fight flus, inflammation, fevers, etc. Herbs you can grow and how to use them, making teas, tinctures, salves. Which supplements are best for acute illness, what you should keep on hand to help your family.

For those that are brand new to Homeopathy and would like a brief introduction, I may offer Free hour long talk on what Homeopathy is, a little of the history and why I think homeopathy has an important place in our health care.

So if these sound interesting to you, please send me an email or message and let me know! I will let you know when I have a date and a venue secured.

New Diet Evaluations

I have also decided to revisit the Diet Evaluations, but slightly differently this time. Again I want to showcase what I do best, and this will take on a more tailored approach. I started a new Diet Evaluation in January- I may do this one for a couple months. It is not a fad diet or a popular diet, it is a diet of my own design, based on my personal dietary needs! So far so good! I'm really enjoying it! :) I took concepts that I loved about previous diets and added my own twist to it.  That's all I'll tell you for now, but stay tuned to my Facebook page for more details and updates.

I also chose a new focus for this year. One theme or idea to keep me on track, to support my growth and mindset. Sometimes I'll chose a phrase or a couple words. This year is just one word: Joy! My intention is to find Joy in every day, in all the little things, to reconnect, be present, be grateful and see all the blessings in my life. More soaking up the sunshine and dancing in the rain.

I also hope that when you come to see me, I help spread some joy into your life too. True health is mind, body and spirit. I hope you will embrace Joy in your life too.

I look forward to seeing each of you this year, and seeing what changes and joys you have embraced.
