Natural Immune Boosting
It was only +3 C when I got up this morning. The evenings are shorter and cooler and the kids start back at school this week. Autumn is just around the corner.
I love autumn, but for many the change in weather brings coughs and colds, flus and sniffles. I'd love to help you have your healthiest autumn yet. Here are my favourite immune boosting and cold fighting remedies.

Other ideas to help you healthy this autumn:
Pack a nutritious lunch. Avoid processed food, food colouring and extra sugar, all these will weaken the immune system. Pack fresh fruit and veggies, some protein and carbohydrates for energy. When packing someone's lunch try adding an encouraging note, a sticker or a comic to brighten their day. Laughter and feeling loved boosts the immune system too! <3
Take advantage of all the wonderful harvest vegetables right now and feed your family lots of fresh veggie soups. My favourite soups are made by grabbing whatever veggies are ripe, dicing them and cooking them in a pot with homemade bone broth, herbs and garlic from my garden, and some smoked paprika or chilies for a little kick. Soup doesn't have to be boring. Check out these flavourful and filling soup recipes on my pinterest page here.
I will make big batches of soups and freeze them for later or pack them in a thermos for lunch.
I hope these tips help you and your family have a happy and healthy autumn. As always, I am happy to help if you need an assessment or individual recommendations for your family.
